Staff and Club Member on PlaygroundProgram Assistant

Applications are being accepted for part time positions as a Program Assistant with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Nash/Edgecombe Counties, Inc. for our After School Program. The positions are available at the following locations:

  • Phillips Unit at Phillips Middle School-Battleboro, NC-2 Position
  • South Edgecombe Unit at South Edge. Middle School-Pinetops, NC-2 Positions
  • Nashville Area Unit-Nashville, NC-2 Positions
  • Edgecombe County Unit-Princeville, NC-2 Positions
  • Lucy Ann Boddie Brewer Unit-Rocky Mount, NC-3 Positions
  • IMPACT Plus-Juvenile Restitution Program-2Positions

Responsibilities include ensuring youth development principles are incorporated into programs and activities for youth, providing guidance and discipline to ensure a safe and positive environment for youth, and assisting in planning, implementation, and the delivery of programs. The required work hours for the positions is 2:00PM-7:00PM Monday-Friday. Some full day or weekend work may be required. Education and Experience: Some college is preferred. A minimum of one year of experience working with youth ages 5 to 18 years old in the area of youth development is required.
